‘Oh Hyun-gyu Home Debut’ Celtic, Livingston 3-0 complete… 17G Undefeated

Oh Hyun-kyu (21) made his Celtic Park home debut and helped the team win.

Celtic won 3-0 in the 24th round of the Scottish Premiership in the 2022/23 season against Livingston held at Celtic Park in Glasgow, Scotland on the 2nd (Korean time).

With this victory, Celtic ran an undefeated streak of 17 games, running at the top (22 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss, 67 points).

Celtic went with a 4-3-3 formation. In addition to goalkeeper Joe Hart, the defense consisted of Alistair Johnstone, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Stafelt and Greg Taylor.

Matt O’Reilly, Callum McGregor, and Leo Hatate were in charge of the midfield, while Jota, Kyogo Furuhashi, and Daizen Maeda sortied up front. Hyungyu Oh started from the bench.

Livingstone countered with a 3-5-1-1 formation. The back three consisted of goalkeeper Shamal George, Ayo Obileye, Jack Fitzwater and Morgan Boyes. Wingbacks were Nicky Devlin and James Penrice, while midfielders were Stephen Omeonga, Jason Holt and Scott Pittman.

Andrew Shinier was the second line attacker, and Bruce Anderson was the front line.

Celtic pushed Livingston hard from the first half. Starting with Hatate’s mid-range shot in the 5th minute, Hatate and Maeda connected in the 10th minute and delivered a low cross to Jota. Jota shot from close range, but unfortunately missed the opportunity.

It was fullback Taylor who pierced the blood first. In the 29th minute of the first half, Hatate connected to Taylor, who had reached the inside of the penalty box, and he shook the net with a powerful left-footed shot. 메이저놀이터

An additional goal was scored three minutes later. Obileye tried to clear O’Reilly’s cross from the left, but Maeda headed in and took a two-goal lead.

Celtic scored the third goal in extra time in the first half and solidified their victory early.

Near the half-line of the opposing camp, the opposing defense made a clearing mistake, and Furuhashi, who followed, started counterattacking with the ball. After advancing into the penalty box, he shook the right net with a shot with his left foot.

Oh Hyeon-gyu, who joined Celtic on the 25th of last month, made his home debut as a substitute for Furuhashi in the 30th minute of the second half, when the game was already on the upswing.

In a situation where the opponent lost the will to fight, he concentrated on defense and Oh Hyun-gyu continued to attack with his teammates. However, there was not enough time to show something.

In the 45th minute of the second half, my colleague Avada attempted a low cross and Oh Hyun-kyu tried to stretch his foot, but unfortunately it did not reach it with a slight difference, leaving regret. The game ended just like that.
